She was predeceased by: her parents, JD Marion and Etta Marion; her brothers, Marion and Jerry Marion; her significant other Edward Lewis Vaughn; and her daughter Leddie Lackey Vaughn.
She is survived by: her sister Laura Kay Ellis (Dale); her children, Lo Etta Vaughn, Dr. Carol Wald, Lisa, Rob Yates, Rose and Doug Chandler; her grandchildren, Lyndie, Mike Medford, Miranda Lackey, Speer Lackey and Chance Yates; her great grandchildren, Merrit Mae Medford, Levie June Medford and Raylee Renea Jacinto; her sisters-in-law, Judy Marion and Laura Faye Marion; and her close friend Deborah Ferry.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel (511 W Main St, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Maypearl Church of Christ (6091 FM 66, Maypearl, TX 76064). A burial will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at the Auburn Cemetery (302 Auburn Rd, Grandview, TX 76064).
