He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Charles McNiel and Olive Marie Landry McNiel; his brothers, Thomas Charles McNiel, Jr., Richard Clark McNiel and Michael Francis McNiel; his uncle Frank Perry; his wife Teresa Jackson; his children, Melissa Lee McNiel Collins (Jimmy), David Michael McNiel (Michelle) and John David McNiel, Jr.; his granddaughter Kendall Taylor McNiel Castle (Christian); his niece Juli Jackson; and his sister-in-law Scooter.
