She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis M. Moody and Eula Lavada Brown Moody; her siblings, Fern and James Otis; and her granddaughter Shelly Nowell Garcia (Joe).
She is survived by: her husband Joseph William Elkington, Jr.; and her children, Rolinda Jo Nobles (Donald), Joe Randal Elkington (Vickie) and Bobbie Jo Davis (Gary).
