He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent R. H. Chiles; his child Chris; his husband Clois Carter; his son Christopher Hoyt Chiles (Patricia Lynn); his grandchildren, Elise and Crosby Chiles of Dallas; his daughter Amy Yvonne Evans Rosser (Laura Anne Rosser); his grandson Tyler Jacob Evans of Kennedale; his mother Doris Mae Chiles; his siblings, Claude Chiles, Bonnie Lloyd, Allan Chiles, Lane Chiles and Sandy McCowan; and his sisters-in-law, Annie Bates of Hearne, Janie, Charanta of Rockdale and Joy Taylor of Linden. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
