She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Mercado and Felicitas Gaona Mercado; and her siblings, Roberto Mercado and Velia Mercado. She is survived by: her husband Arturo Elizondo; her children, Liliana E. Cuellar, Claudia E. Villanueva and Julian Elizondo; and her grandchildren, Gabriel Cuellar, Isaiah Villanueva, Jazmin Cuellar, Francisco A. Elizondo, Joaquin N. Elizondo and Lilia M. Elizondo. She is also survived by 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
