He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bumpus and Edith Bumpus (Word); his wife Peggy Jo Bumpus; and his brother Jack Bumpus. He is survived by: his daughter Valrie Bumpus; his grandchildren, Will and Lacey Bergeron; and his brothers, Tony and George Bumpus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
