It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Nelson of Waxahachie, Texas, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on March 13, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gehardt Alvin Nelson and Frances Elizabeth Britton; his siblings, Beverly Friend and Edward Nelson; and his stepson Dino Martin (Linda Nelson).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Shelkofsky; his children, Paul Nelson (Melinda) and Tina Cox (Clay); his granddaughter Macy Griggs (Peter); his great grandchild Elijah Paul Griggs; his stepdaughters, Rhonda Johnston (Ricky), Cheryl Chambers (Steve) and Gay Lynn Johnson (Greg); his daughter-in-law Nora Martin-Brock; his grandchildren, Luke Johnston (Emily), Jake Johnston, Justin Chambers (Jackie), Stephanie Chambers, Blaike Johnson, Rex Johnson, Max Johnson, Brittany Martin Luna (Chris) and Cody Martin; and his great grandchildren, Allison, Emerson Chambers and Asher Luna.
