He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Daehnert and Thelma Daehnert; his brother Donald Daehnert (Janet); and his in-laws, Russell and Genie Hildebrand.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Julie and Steven (Jennifer); his brother Jan Daehnert (Carol); and his siblings-in-law, James Hildebrand (Pat), Beverly Hildebrand, Ruth Cameron (Glen) and Donald Hildebrand (LouAnn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel (511 W Main St, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (450 US-287 BYP, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Dallas Â?? Ft. Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
