She was predeceased by: her husband Juan. She is survived by: her son Hector; her daughter-in-law Connie Chávez of Austin; her children, Xavier Chávez (Laurie Atkinson) of Waxahachie, Silvia Chávez of Waxahachie and Stella M. Chávez; her son-in-law Kevin Krause of Waxahachie; and her grandchildren, Owen Wilson-Chávez, Greer Wilson-Chávez and Paul Chávez. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
