He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brothers, Robert Merritt (Rhonda Merritt) and Greg Merritt (Laurel Merritt); his wife Wendy Merritt; his daughters, Amanda Svaleson (Jonathan Svaleson) and Chelsea York (James York); and his grandchildren, Emery Ivey, Andria Svaleson and Shawn Ivey.
