With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jo Wright (Waxahachie, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry and Jewel Loyd; her brothers, Eugene Loyd, Wayne Loyd and Bobby Loyd; and her sisters-in-law, Frankie Loyd and Molly Loyd.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Wright (Cooter); her daughters, Carla Reeves of Waxahachie and Marla Bearden (Michael) of Waxahachie; her grandchildren, Cami Hughes (Jack), Andy Reeves (Catrina), Wesley Reeves (Amanda) of Waxahachie and Corey Bearden (Jennifer) of Fort Worth; her great grandchildren, Alex Hughes, Nathan Bearden, Luke Reeves, Austin Reeves, Kate Bearden, Jase Reeves and Tyler Reeves; her sister-in-law Charlotte Loyd; and her son-in-law Philip Reeves. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel (511 W Main St, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at the Forreston Cemetery.
