He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hammock and Betty Sharp Hammock; and his daughter Sharla Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Hammock; his son Ben A. Hammock, II; his stepchildren, Emily Elerson and Thomas Elerson; and his grandchildren, Justin, Jill, Alton, Olivia, Naomi and Brooklyn. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
