She is survived by: her husband Charles Thompson; her children, Charles Franklin Thompson, Jr., Timothy James Thompson, Cheryl Lynne Vaughn and Ashley Rene Patty; and her brothers, William Shepherd, David Shepherd, James Shepherd and Eric Shepherd. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
