With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Jean Key (Waxahachie, Texas), born in Temple, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2024 at the age of 83. Though Barbara Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Lisa Nunnery; and her siblings, Milton Younts and Joan Baugh. She is survived by: her husband John Key; her daughter Traci Gibson (Scott); her grandson Charlie Gibson (Lindsey); her great grandchild Ezra; her grandson Dylan Gibson (Ana); and her brothers, Richard Younts, Jimmy Younts (Judy) and Johnny Younts (Sonia).
