He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Gasper and Alvie Gasper; and his siblings, Twyla Bordelon and Wayne Gasper. He is survived by: his wife Mary McLeod Gasper; his children, Shelia McDonald (William), Bennie Gasper, Jr. (Karen), Brian Gasper, Cathy Sias (Oscar), Marvin Gasper (Nidia), Daniel Gasper (Christy), Stephen Oberle (Adrian) and Jason Oberle (Amber); his siblings, Vera Bott, Eula Craig, Martha Ham and Donald Gasper; and his sister-in-law Diana McMillian. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
