It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Spencer IV of Washington, Texas, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. William "Bill" Spencer (Ann Spencer) and Charlotte Temple of St. Helena, CA; his wife Kathryn McDonnell Spencer of Washington, DC.; his children, Sam Spencer of Los Angeles, CA and Sarah Hope Spencer of Brooklyn, NY.; his siblings, Christopher Spencer of Guerneville, CA, Katherine Sage Spencer Zelazny of St. Helena, CA and Arthur Spencer of Pope Valley, CA; and his stepbrother Dr. J. Mark Mitchiner of Sumter, SC.
