He is survived by: his parent Beatrice Anne Priest Koonce; his grandchildren, Robert Alan Koonce of Bath, Shanita Koonce Moore of Ayden and Lenia Koonce Spencer of Williamston; his sisters, Shelby Squires and Judy Koonce; and his son Preston Vance Koonce, Jr.. He is also survived by three brothers, and three sisters.
