He is survived by: his parent Nettie Gertrude Nixon Satterthwaite; his wife Peggy Satterthwaite; his daughters, Tammy S. Pugh (Charles) of Belhaven and Amy S. Alligood of Washington; his siblings, Bruce Satterthwaite (Grace) of Rocky Mount and Helen Satterthwaite of Pantego; and his grandchildren, Kayla Alligood, Layla Brock and Jamie Lynn Daniels.
