He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Blum and Lena Kochwelp Blum; his brother Harold; his sister-in-law Neva Blum; his brother Marvin Blum; his siblings-in-law, Florence Blum and Clifford Heidemann; and his parents-in-law, Wollie and Alma Marburger.
He is survived by: his wife LaVerne Blum; his children, Larry (Lisa Blum), David (Sandra Blum), Jason Blum and Karen; his son-in-law Mike Mueller; his siblings, Barry Blum and Carolyn Heidemann; his sister-in-law Doris Blum; his grandchildren, Marcus, Nathan, Meghan Blum, Kelly Pohorelsky (Thomas), Kevin Blum (Alayni), Kyle Mueller (Emily), Amanda Mueller, Ryan Blum (Lanie Bones), Justin, Leonora and Gavin Blum; his great grandchildren, Emily Pohorelsky and Brittan Blum; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin and Joyce Marburger. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
