He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew J. Posey and Mary Conley Posey (Joyce Euton Posey); his wife Joyce Marie Euton; and his son Bruce Posey, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Schmidt (Eitel) of Houston, Byron Posey (Janice) of College Station, Bradley Posey of Washington and Brooks Conway (Marshall) of Houston, TX.; and his grandchildren, Nina Horvitz, Rachel Horvitz, Johnathan Posey, Wilhelm Schmidt, Jason Posey and Kasey Conway.
In lieu of usual remembrances, the family has suggested memorials in Bruce's name to a favorite charity.
