He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Harvey Young and Lydia Mae Young; his wife Dorothy Young; his daughter Dianna Lynn Savoy; his grandson William Ray Young; and his sister Marilyn Sterling.
He is survived by: his children, William Wayne Young, Charles Richard Young (LaDonna) and Lydia Kay Phillips; and his siblings, Gloria Wilson, Jeanette Lyons, Marie Davis and W. S. Young. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
