He is survived by: his children, Darrell Rider (Ashley) of Stockton, Kenneth Rider (Heather) of Warren, Katie Roberts, Jamey Bean of Beaumont and Michelle Rider of Warren; and his brothers, Andy Rider of Atmor, Wayne Rider (Cindy) of Bayminette, Allen Rider (Carrie) of Anna and Neil Rider (Pat) of Floresville, Texas. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
