He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Phelps and Bessie Phelps; and his brothers, Douglas Phelps and Ernest Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Phelps; his children, Kathy Phelps-Thompson (Benny) and Doug Phelps (Cherri); his grandchildren, Richard Thompson (Amber), Tonya Thompson-Goodrum (Stephen), Josh Clement (Samantha), Jacob Clement (Kate) and Jon Clement; and his great grandchildren, Cory Goodrum, Lukas Thompson, Lexi Goodrum, Jude Thompson, Nevaeh Goodrum and Oliver Clement. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
