He was predeceased by: his parents, L. D. Hatton and Gracie Lou Swearingen Hatton; his sister Linda Hatton Wiant (John); his nephew Perry "Scooter" Wiant; and his niece Marilyn Sue Whatley.
He is survived by: his wife LaVern Hatton of Warren; his children, Clint Hatton (Judy) of Village Mills and Dawn Foxworth (Kenneth) of Warren; his sister Joyce Mizell of Sugar Land; his grandchildren, Jessica Haygood, Jonathan Langton, Jennifer Langton, Jerred Wallace, Heather Hatton and Michael Foxworth; and his great grandchildren, Fiona, Carlie, Makenna, Judson and Dacre.
