He is survived by: his children, Carl Richard "Bo" Gober Jr. of Warren, Dena Marie Chinery (Steven) of Woodville, Eva Jolee Shanley (Joe) of Woodville and Mandy Caryl Matlock (James) of Warren; his grandchildren, Reba Nelson (Cody), Matthew Gober, Dustin Gober (Ashlee), Samantha Nizam (Zak), Tyler Platt, Garrett Platt (Allison), Morgan Chinery, Ahna Chinery, Michelle Shanley, Noel Shanley, Tony Shanley, Abigail Shanley, Kyra Matlock, Chloe Key (Trea), Emily Matlock, Seth Matlock and Cassandra Matlock; and his great grandchildren, Claire Nelson, James Nelson, Kahlan Gober, Amber Gober, Leigha Gober, Emma Nizam, Leo Nizam, Ava Mills and Remington Key.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Christian Radio Station 102.7 KTXJ, 1408 E. Gibson Street, Jasper, TX which was Richard's favorite station.
