He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Burks; his sons, Rex Burks (Terri) of Sims, Richard Burks (Meredith) of White Oak, Rocky Burks (Gloria) of Warren and Rodney Burks (Kendra) of Vidor; his grandchildren, Alyson Haggard of White Oak, Zach Burks of New Boston, Lean Clift of White Oak, Jamie Burks of Warren, Kayla Burks of Sims, Joshua Burks of Warren, Espyn Burks of Vidor, Jordyn Burks of Vidor and Gracyn Gilbreath of Vidor; his great grandchildren, Lane, Luke, Ruston, Junson Haggard of White Oak, Cooper Hilton, Kipton Burks of New Boston and Branson Clift of White Oak; and his siblings, Pete Burks, Martha Burks of Henderson, Jimmy Burks (Toni) of Hallsville, Cathy Fredricks (John) of Hallsville and Mary Morelock (Marty) of Dickson, TN. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
