She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Asher and Leontine Bruels Asher; her husband Claude Smith, Jr.; and her siblings, George Asher, Donald Asher and Patsy Schwarz.
She is survived by: her sister Janie Roll (Patrick); her children, Dwayne Smith, Forrest Smith (Kaye Doss) and Patti Smith McCreless; and her grandchildren, Kaleb Smith (Emily), Shelbie Ghiotto (Luca), Klaiten McCreless (Sarah), Makayla Smith, Kendall McCreless and Tyler Smith. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Smith Family Cemetery (129 FM 3351, Bergheim, TX 78006).
