She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Sommer and Edna Sommer (Sauer); her son Bobby Talafuse; and her sister Mildred Shuffield. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Vansa of Baytown; and her children, Gary Talafuse of Buckholts and Brenda Litton. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
