She was predeceased by: her parents, Burnice Bartee and Hattie Bartee; her husband Franklin Denton Hargrave; her sisters, Mary Ann Wiggs and Izene Park; her grandson Franklin Denton Hargrave III; and her nephew Kenneth Elliot.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Lee Hargrave, Franklin Hargrave Jr. (Susan "Pete" Hargrave), Michael Hargrave and Shannan Hargrave; her sister Nettie Lou Oaks; and her grandchildren, Denton Hargrave, Brandon Hargrave, Michelle Hargrave, Hunter Hargrave, Brijett Hargrave, Travis Crawford and Nikki Bird. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
