He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Edward Holub and Viola Adela Kocurek Holub; and his siblings, Gwendolyn Miller and Daniel "Danny" Edward Holub. He is survived by: his son Creighton Holub (Crystal Holub); his grandchildren, Alexander and Ashlynn Holub; his son Nicholas "Bub" Holub (Peggy); his grandchildren, Nicholas "Wes" Holub Jr., Dustin and Annabelle "Cissy" Holub; his siblings, Chris Holub, Linda Owen, Shirley Moore, Roselyn Sluis, Danette Gray and Nancy Lawrence; and also Mary Kulhanek.
