It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elvira Polasek of Wallis, Texas, who passed away on June 20, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Sunderhuse and Tekla Sunderhuse; her husband Leonard Polasek; and her sons-in-law, Charlie Kubes and Tom Atkins.
She is survived by: her children, Lynette Atkins of Rosenberg, Ronald Tielke of New Ulm, Nancy Beran (Adolph) of Rosenberg, Randy Tielke of Rosenberg and Kurtis Tielke (Kim) of East Bernard; her stepdaughters, Robin Reich (Jeff) of Wallis and Roxane Zotyka (Ladgie) of Wallis; her grandchildren, Kristy Kubes of Houston, Jeff Kubes (Sarah) of Seguin, Nathan Kubes (Charlene Viktorin) of El Campo, Amanda Miller (Mike) of Durham, Jennifer Henderson (Rick) of Katy, Nick Beran (Kayla) of Richmond, Nicole Murphy (Joey) of Livingston and Justin Tielke (Meagan) of Sealy; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Grayson, Chloe Kubes, Kaitlyn, Aidan, Aubrey Miller, Hailey Pryor, Weston Beran, Hunter, Ryder Murphy and Colson Tielke.
On March 13, 1972 Elvira donated one of her kidneys to her brother Clifford.
