He was predeceased by: his parents, Lew Dennis and Ketha Dunn; and his siblings, Lehman Tyler, Mack Tyler, Cilton Tyler, Kenneth "Blackie" Tyler, Mike Tyler and Keitha Selby.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Tyler; his children, Paul Tyler (Ranell), Glen Tyler (Glynis) and Valarene Whitman (Lewis); his siblings, D. M. Tyler (Barbara), Donnie Tyler (Dot), Edith Gundy and Loyce White (Roy "Poochie"); his grandchildren, Wesley Tyler (Shelly), James Tyler (Jennifer), Rachel Mendoza (Gregory), Rosanne Lopez (Joe), Deanna Youngblood (Nick), Emily Havard (Derik), Adrianne and Kristin Russell; and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Ethan, Andrew, Ben, Audriana, Joshua and Lily. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
