He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Godwin, Sr. and Ollie Mackey Godwin. He is survived by: his wife Merilyn Cash Godwin; his daughter Jennifer Godwin; and his sisters-in-law, Vivian Cash Olsen (Arnie) and Judy Cash Kelly (Martin). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
