He was predeceased by: his parents, Afton Lois Bufkin Bankston and Garland Leroy Bankston; and his nephew Domenic "Nick" Michael Bankston. He is survived by: his siblings, Andy, Brandi and Kelsey; his wife Kathy White Bankston; his children, Philip Andrew Bankston (Erica), Brandi Linn Spiller (Shane), Kelsey Ann Edmonds (Bryan) and Benjamin Brice Bankston; his grandchildren, Philip Austin Bankston, Branson Dave Spiller, Harper Grace Spiller, Leo Philip Edmonds, Taylor Mae Bankston and Ella Jean Edmonds; and his siblings, Michael Bankston (MaryAnn) and Cynthia Bankston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great- nieces and nephews and a great number of friends.
