He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Polk Sr. and Pauline Holt Polk; and his nephew Andrew D. Polk. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Taylor Porchey Moll, Tate Porchey, Wesley Polk and Emerson Polk; his siblings, Jane Keese, Larry Keese, John Polk and Janice Polk; his nieces, Leslie Ray, Kyle Ray and Chelsea Polk; his nephew Larry Jr; and also Loretta Keese.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made in his memory to Boys and Girls Country or the Alzheimer's Association in Houston.
