He was predeceased by: his son Jose Angel Resendez; his parents, Antonio Resendez and Augustina Castruita Navarro; his siblings, Dorothy Juarez, Carmen Salas and Jesse Navarro; and the mother of his children Angelina Arocha Resendez.
He is survived by: his children, Natalie Rose Rodriguez (Gustavo) and Javier Thomas Resendez; his grandchildren, Joseph Angel Resendez, Gustavo Ignacio Rodriguez and Sandra Josefina Rodriguez; his siblings, Frances Martinez, Emilio Navarro (Maria), Lupe Ramirez, Paula Solis, Verge Rivera, Cynthia Rivera (Fernando) and Douglas Richard Navarro; and his aunt Mary Mendez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
