He is survived by: his friends, Richard Bernal, Richard Arechiga and Sylvester "Silver" Velasquez; his close friends, Kenneth, Virgina Wedeikes, Charles, Lois Villasenor, Las Vegas and San Antonio; his friends, Houston and Ruben Torres; his sister Elma Duran Lafuente; his children, Angela Duran, Catherine Ferrell (Doug), Lisa Blonkvist (Tim) and George Fancher III; his grandchildren, Alicia Roberts (Jimmy), Mark (Jonathon Gault), Gabriel Maroney Jacob Duran (Rachel) and Stephanie (Douglas Ferrell); his great grandchildren, Jasper Roberts, France Maroney and Jayden Melby; and his uncle Sonny'. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services to honor Rabbit are carefully planned to accommodate the current COVID restrictions.
