He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Castañeda; his children, Ronald Victor Castañeda (Laura), Carla Castillo, Darlene Neslage (Rob), James Pate and April Earle (Don); his grandchildren, Destiny Medrano, Rozlyn Castañeda, Maria Elena Castañeda, Ronald, Castañeda, Jr., Konrad Scott Rodriguez, Kellie Corpus, Emily Neslage, Logan Neslage and Henry Earle; his great grandchild Cataleya Longoria; and his siblings, Joey Castañeda (Maggie), Mike Castañeda (Oralia), Jerry Castañeda (Cindy), Jaime, Anthony Castañeda, Renee Ramirez (Roy) and Danielle Ramirez. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
