He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Maldonado and Rebecca Maldonado; and his brother Frank Maldonado. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Derek Maldonado, Dean Maldonado (Lisa), Chris Maldonado (Lucy), Lori Maldonado (Viviano Arriaga), Richard Maldonado, Jr. (Deanna) and Monica Huerta (Juan); and his siblings, Henry Maldonado, Ruth "Dolly" Marquez (Ram) and Del Candelario (Hector). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and countless friends.
