He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Benites and Louise Garcia Benites; his son John Oliver; and his brother-in-law Abel Mejia. He is survived by: his wife Cruz Benites; his children, Tommy Oliver (Arlet), Yvonne Flores, Moses Gonzales and Mary Fabian; his grandchildren, Javier, Alexus, Damien, Daniel, Rae, John, Brianna, Brendon, Adian, Moses III, Sierra, Johnathan, Louise, Crystal and Carlos; and his siblings, Alfredo Benites (Marie), Alex Benites (Isabelle), Linda Cruz (Paul) and Alice Mejia. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin, capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries. Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
