We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2021, Mary Chapa Salinas of Wall, Texas, born in Lockhart, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eristeo Chapa and Florentina Chapa; her brothers, Eugene Chapa and Celestino Chapa; and her husband Charlie Salinas.
She is survived by: her children, Terrie Fraher (Steve), Eva Fernandez, Linda Moody (Mike), Sophie Dean (Randy), Susan Fernandez, Gloria Hehl (Rick), Brenda Burwell (Rick) and Gavino Fernandez, Jr.; and her brother Paul Chapa. She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin, capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries. Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask, and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
