She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Ramirez; her parents, Gavino Castillo and Juanita Castillo; her son Manuel Ramirez, Jr.; her grandson Larry Espinosa, Jr.; and her son-in-law Carlos Cardenas.

She is survived by: her children, Hope Cardenas, Catarina "Cathy" Ramirez (Roman Zacarias), Roberta "Bertha" Ramirez (Johnny Galvez) and Pete Ramirez. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
