He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Salas Sr. and Beatriz Salas Martinez; and his brothers, Jose Salas (Ruth), Gilbert Salas (Emma) and Daniel Salas.
He is survived by: his wife Reba Salas; his children, Johnny Salas, Miroslava Salas, Miranda Salas and Armando Salas (Crystal Lewis); his grandchildren, Julian Valles, Anthony Valles, Alejandro Valles, Lilliana Salas and Luis Salas; and his siblings, Ernesto Salas (Deanna), Ruben Salas (Martha), Ricardo Salas (Nora), Arturo Salas (Pat), Rolando Salas (Teresa) and Rosalinda Castaneda Joe. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
