She was predeceased by: her parents, Tomas Cavazos and Jovita Cavazos; her brothers, Robert Cavazos and Tomas Cavazos, Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Mary Lina Rangel-Castro.
She is survived by: her son Edward Castro, Jr.; her grandson Edward Alexander Castro; her siblings, Betty Cavazos Benavides (Richard), Pete Cavazos and Joe Cavazos, Jr.; and her nieces and nephews, Mike Cavazos, Rene Sandoval, Robert Cavazos, Randy Cavazos, Tomas Cavazos, Mark Anthony Cavazos, Jr., Lauren Cavazos and Samantha Cavazos.
