He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Lilianna Gomez; his father Enrique Gomez; his son-in-law Dominic Cavazos; and his sister-in-law Elisa Gomez. He is survived by: his wife Delia Gomez; his mother Enriqueta Gomez; his children, Francisco Javier Gomez, Rosie Cavazos, Brenda Aleman (Javier), Fernando "Jaime" Gomez (Ashli), Fabian Gomez (Karina), Janette Gomez and Janelle Gomez; and his siblings, Jose Antonio Gomez (Josefina), Jose Armando Gomez and Rebecca Vasquez (Richard). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin, capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries. Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask, and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
