She was predeceased by: her parents, Meliton Quiroz and Joventina Quiroz; and her siblings, Frances Garza, Meliton Quiroz, Jr., Doroteo Quiroz and Filomena Rocha.

She is survived by: her son Leon Ramirez (Claudine); her grandchildren, Alexandria Brooke Ramirez and Gabriella Danielle Ramirez; and her sisters, Agapita Castro (Raymond), Leandra Serda (Juan) and Tomasa "Tommie" Camacho.
