He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Munguia and Julia Ramirez Munguia; and his siblings, Susie Ojeda, Tony Munguia, Vera Gonzales, Odel Lopez, Hortencia Jimenez and Felix Munguia.
He is survived by: his wife Elisa Rangel Mungia; and his children, Nancy Munguia, Raul Munguia (Cynthia), Elizabeth Mungia (Rick Patino), Belinda Mungia (Peter Velasquez) and Ray Mungia (Rebekah). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
