We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2021, Elvira Jurado of Wall, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Jurado and Maria Castro Jurado; her brothers, Edward Jurado and Elias Jurado Jr.; and her brother-in-law Roy Haros.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Ruiz (Johnny), Joanna Mata (Rudy Aleman), Joe Mata (Carmen), Ruben Mata (Rose), Robert Mata (Laura) and Richard Mata (Destiny); her siblings, Herminia Menchacha, Rosa Haros, Gloria Chavez (Miguel), Lucy Martinez (Gonzalo), Marylee Rodriguez (Ernest), Jesse Jurado (Stella), Gilbert Jurado, Jose Jurado (Juana) and Steve Jurado (Rachel); and the father of her children Joe Mata, Sr.. She is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
