He was predeceased by: his parents, Narciso Carrillo and Lenora Gutierrez; his siblings, Henry M. Carrilo and Patricia Prado; and his grandsons, Angel R., David R. III and John D. Carrillo.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine M. Carrillo; his children, Jessica R. Carrillo and David R. Carrillo, Jr.; and his sisters, Adrian Ruiz, Mary Dolores Ruiz and Rachel Castillo. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
