She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Ancira and Elvira Mendoza Ancira; and her brother Jimmy Ancira. She is survived by: her husband Paul Chapa; her sons, Tim Nuncio, Erick Chapa and Elias Chapa; and her siblings, Paul Ancira Jr., Henry Ancira, Richard Ancira, Lucille Ancira Jackson, Manuel Sanchez, Danny Ancira, David Ancira, Debbie Montoya, Denise Medina and Vanessa Ancira.
